Vascular Imaging Capabilities
MR angiography (MRA), the noninvasive MR imaging method used to assess vascular conditions, has been proven effective in the evaluation of vascular disease without the discomfort and the risk associated with using the iodinated contrast agents and catheters of conventional angiography. It has been found to be instrumental in the evaluation of acute vascular processes and acute head trauma.
A: This image, created using a single breathhold Contrast Enhanced MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiography) technique, well depicts the Renal arteries and abdominal Aorta
B: The vessels within the Circle of Willis are clearly demonstrated by a TOF (Time of Flight) MRA sequence and high-resolution reconstruction
